No one ever said a win had to be pretty.

The Big Bastone showed up with exactly one line - 5 runners and a goalie. They also had a coach, some water bottles and zero subs on the bench. This one should have been a runner by the end of the second period but the Bastone held on until the last five minutes before waving the white flag. Credit where credit is due, the Bastone played smart, picked their spots and took advantage of their scoring chances.

Attack of the Team didn't have the killer instinct they needed to bury this one early and that kept the Bastone within two for most of the game. Still a win is a win and there were some fine offensive performances to call out. Plante earned his second hat trick of the season and currently leads the league in scoring with 7 goals. Tyler Cvetkovski found the back of the net twice for his first multi-point game of the year and Richardson found Eddy who found Zack for his first assist of the year!

Attack of the Team holds a 4-point lead in the standings over the Richmond Hill Riot. These two teams faceoff next week - an Attack win all but locks down the division title but a loss keeps it very much up in the air.
